FINDINGS It might be a possibility that Abstract Expressionist, Jackson Pollock, hid his name amid brush strokes of his legendary 1943 mural. It always fascinates me when artists leave behind messages in their paintings…giving us subtle clues into their life story.

Young musicians
FINDINGS I’ve come across plenty of Asian, musical prodigies. However, these two young ladies definitely stand out to me. Keep in mind these girls are only 11 & 14. I give them mad props for having the guts to speak at the Ted Conference…and I must say they did a great job.

Kid’s republic
ARCHITECTURE How awesome is this bookstore?! I love how the design of the space encourages kids to run, hide, and explore. It feels like a futuristic Dr Suess book come to life. This space was designed for Poplar, Japan’s largest children’s book publisher by Sako, Japan’s leading architecture firm.
Wolf & Badger
WEBSITE Wolf & Badger is an interesting retail gallery that provides an affordable opportunity for designers to display and sell their products, as well as gain exposure to trade buyers. Sometimes it just takes one helping hand to lead an up and coming artist to fame. Nice job guys. Site designed by my talented buddies at ISH.
