SAVING THE WORLD Puma and Fuseproject, the design firm led by Yves Béhar, have been working together for the past three years on this eco-friendly shoe box. Pretty amazing how the new box design will reduce Puma’s cardboard use by a whoppin’ 65%!
The uniform project
SAVING THE WORLD NY-based designer Sheena Matheiken has pledged to wear one dress for one year as an exercise in sustainable fashion. The Uniform Project is also a year-long fundraiser for the Akanksha Foundation, a grassroots movement that is revolutionizing education in India.
Compostmodern
SAVING THE WORLD Compostmodern is back again this year and will be held in San Francisco on February 21st. This conference was developed by the San Francisco chapter of AIGA and the AIGA Center for Sustainable Design (CFSD) to explore and discuss socially and ecologically responsible design thinking.
