The 5000 fingers of Dr. T
www.youtube.comwww.filmfanatic.org
FILMS The 5000 Fingers of Dr. T is the only film written and designed by Dr. Seuss. I haven’t seen the actual movie but I did watch the trailer. It feels very dark and dazzling all at the same time. I would say it’s a mix of Charlie and the Chocolate factory, The Wizard of Oz, Nightmare Before Christmas, and Cirque Du Soleil.

Herb and Dorothy
FILMS This couple is absolutely adorable. It’s amazing how with a postal clerk and librarian salary they can manage to build one of the most important contemporary arts collections in history. They truly redefined the meaning of being an art collector.
Leslie Kwok
GRAPHIC DESIGN Love this project.
title sequence
FILMS This charming title sequence from the classic, To Kill a Mockingbird is beautifully art directed. If only we could continue to be this artistic/creative in all our movie title sequences.

ART Jackson Pollock is best known for his rhythmic drip paintings. This website allows you to play around and create your own digital version of a Pollock masterpiece. It’s interesting to see what abstract shapes are created, however, I still prefer getting down and dirty with the actual paint. Art is all about that hands-on experience with the medium.
“The painting has a life of its own. I try to let it come through.” -Jackson Pollock
