Kerry James
ART I stepped inside SFMOMA the other day and was captivated by the murals painted in the atrium by Kerry James. The subject matter of his paintings, installations, and public projects is often drawn from African-American popular culture. His style and use of color reminds me a little of the works by Basquiat.

PHOTOGRAPHY Here’s an incredible collection of vivid color photographs from an era in history that we’re used to seeing only in black and white. It’s interesting how a touch of color can make photos feel like they’re from a whole different era. It’s kind of trippy.
