FINDINGS I’m pretty sad and disappointed to announce that I.D. Magazine will be closing up shop. F+W Media Design produces three of the most popular graphic design magazines: HOW Design, Print, and I.D. Now it’s down to two. I would have liked to see HOW Design go instead of I.D. I hate how HOW magazine is filled with tons of advertisements and annoying cover stock papers (but I guess those bring in the moolah). I’m pretty impressed, however, with what they have done with Print magazine. It has transformed into a pretty lovely publication and I’m pretty impressed with their attempt to build a strong online community.. Well…goodbye, I.D. You will be missed.

Kate’s crazy cool christmas project
GOOD DAY Kate McRae is an adorable 5-year old girl, fighting a brain tumor. And after reading about her story, I can feel a great deal of determination, love, strength, and generosity from her entire family. This Christmas they have put together an effort to collect toys for the children who will be celebrating the holidays at the oncology department. It would be great if you guys could help out.
Office holiday card
FINDINGS The fabulous designers at Office have just added a new limited edition holiday print to their online shop! “Blue bird” is embossed and offset printed with two metallic foils on cover weight paper and is lovingly packaged in a glassine envelope for your special someone. Just click on their Gallery link to view the print.

Worth Magazine
MAGAZINE I made a trip to Barnes & Noble this weekend and came across Worth. Seems like they’ve undergone a huge transformation (maybe with some inspiration from Monocle?).
